Hot off the record press, just in time to ring in the famous mobilee rooftop and pool season, Rodriguez Jr.cranks out a stellar four-track EP.

Revolving around the beauty of the 133 is, "Persistence Of Vision", a groovy and melodic little number wrapped in deep, soulful lyrics, customized to flow through the warm evening open air dance floors of Spain this summer. The Re.You remix of this utopian track speeds up the melodies just enough not to take away from the wonderfulness of it all. With some extra kinky sound gadgets sporadically added in, this jam can be worked in into any dancefloor set.

On the flip side, "Mustang" tears it up with jumping keystrokes and faint background vocals while "Alderbaran" counteracts with cheerful xylophone taps battling with sinister vocal samples, harvesting an uplifting tune.

Past rooftop parties have validated Rodriguez Jr. to be an integral part of the summer line-up and what better to launch 2014 than with a potential "summer hit". Mobilee will introduce its first ever free, bi-weekly Ibiza residency starting Monday, July 14th on the poolside dance floor of Hotel Santos Ibiza Coast Suites and Rodriguez Jr. is scheduled to deliver a sensational and intimate live set. Additionally, in a series of four events, Hotel Silken Diagonal's infamous cozy Barcelona rooftop, in conjunction with mobilee records, will host Rodriguez Jr. to close out the season along with Sebo K and Re.You on Thursday, September 9th.

If you're out and about in London then you'll likely have been to one of the @tessellatelondon parties at Corsica Studios, where they've been running for the last four years. Regulars will be very happy to learn that Tessellate are now launching a label, featuring artists and friends they have booked and met over the years.

Their first 12" comes courtesy of Firmin, a new alias of one of the Tessellate regulars - we'll leave it to you to work out who on earth that might be! 'Energetic Solution' is a brilliant debut release for the label, with a pair of originals backed by Brassica and Moscoman remixes. We're premiering 'La Selva', a beautiful sunrise-ready deep house cut which unfurls gracefully over the course of its 8 minutes.

Ponty Mython explores the outer boundaries of meditative synths, wandering melodies and eighties soundtrack vibes as he debuts on Futureboogie Recordings with his "Pink Tango" EP. On the remix front, Italian producer Fabrizio Mammarella slightly toughens things up for the title track, plunging into a darker sound aesthetic and takes us on a psychedelic proto-house excursion with chugging mechanical basslines and spiraling synths.
