Mermaid

Moai (Ruben Pascoa), was born in Lisbon, in 1980. Always connected to artistic experimentation, he studied various intruments and participated in countless projects, both live and in studio, ranging from Jazz, Trip-hop and Ambient to the more experimental sides of Electronica. He has played Solo, as well as in Trios, Quintets and Sextets, went through various countries and continents,allowing himself to be influenced and absorb musical traditions from all those different places. Curently living in Lisbon doing Moai as a solo project and also playing in Stelar Stream [also featured on our "All Things Converge" compilation]
