Rubens Daniel é catarinense e tem 31 anos. Desde criança participa de festivais de músicas, onde ganhou vários prêmios. Aos 19 anos saiu da cidade onde morava, Campina da Alegria, pra tentar a sorte, e ‘’viver’’ de música. Mudou-se para Araranguá/SC e desde então tem se dedicado única e exclusivamente à sua grande paixão, a música.
Bandas de baile, barzinhos, festas particulares foi por onde Rubens Daniel andou nestes doze anos. Em 2008, participou do programa Ídolos da Rede Record, no qual ficou entre os quinze finalistas. Em 2013 surgiu a grande oportunidade do cantor, participou da segunda edição do The Voice Brasil, da Rede Globo, onde ficou entre os quatro finalistas.
Desde então a visibilidade de Rubens tem aumentado consideravelmente, com fãs-clubes espalhados em várias regiões do Brasil, ele tem recebido reconhecimento em nível nacional, o que já lhe deu oportunidade de participar do programa Encontro com Fátima Bernardes e também Altas Horas, ambos da rede Globo
