Miguel (https://soundcloud.com/dj-miguel Michal Hupka) is a Bratislava based DJ who started his career as a DJ in 1995 when he was only 15 years old. At that time he mainly played commercial music in small clubs in Bratislava.
Gradually, however, he became interested in new musical trends and styles that appeared on the world stage. He began to devote himself to styles such as ro-minimal, micro house, minimal house, deep house and dub techno which are characterized by their minimalism, subtlety and sophistication. These styles require great sensitivity and precision when mixing and transitioning between tracks. Miguel mastered these skills and became a master of these genres. He has been involved in electronic music for more than 20 years and has performed many times in various clubs around Slovakia. He loves music and loves to share it with his fans.

There have not been any Downfall parties this year, so I hope this takes you there for 1.5hrs.  Going out to Consequence aka Connor Acid. 
Mark Started as a DJ in 1997 after being heavily into the Rave scene, Quickly getting a residency at the infamous Club City In Leicester. This led to gigs all over the UK also getting the chance to play abroad in Ibiza , China and Germany.
In 2015 Mark Started Crate Digger Radio show playing the latest acid house electro and techno, this led to him securing a residency at the legendary Downfall.

I got asked to get a mix together for the ever excellent electronic/electro podcast 'Modulations' by @Agent808...so I thought I'd do something a little different. 
This mix is an homage to that period 1990-1992 when the breakbeat sound morphed into hardcore. House music may have been my first love, but she got well and truly jilted during that period....well, for a while at least!
I think it's wonderful that a new generation of producers are hearing this music and re-interpreting it in new and interesting ways, so there's only one old skool track on this mix, and a modern take on another. 
I do think you'll agree that the spirit is alive and kicking in the rest of this mix. It's an homage to the following venues, parties and DJs that blew my mind weekend after weekend:
