Kurt Baggaley, also known under the alias as Scape One is an electronic music producer based in England. Over the course of his career his music has ranged from driving futuristic electro of his early EPs to more deep and experimental ambient electronica of his Tau Sagittarii releases. His output has gradually become more conceptual with works such as 2012's Natural Phases which focuses on down tempo stripped down low-fi beats with wave formed harmonics. 2015's Former Self consisting of intricate and a slowly building hypnosis of synth sequences, and 2022's Tear's in Rain, a complete dedication of synths and intricate beat patterns to all things Blade Runner.

Rico Casazza is a multi-talented artist, boasting impressive accolades as a DJ, Electronic Music Producer, Film Sound Designer, and Music Educator.

Born in Milan, Rico moved to London at the tender age of 19, where he spent 21 formative years immersed in the intense and charismatic electronic music scene that the UK capital is famous for. Throughout his youth, he cut his teeth in the early 2000s underground music scene, where he was exposed to the birth of Dubstep, the clubbing evolution from hard house to breakbeat, and the emergence of Techouse in Croydon, among other musical genres. This era had a profound impact on Rico's artistic development, and it continues to influence his sound signature to this day.

RELAXING MUSIC

@carlosbarberopty & @kimaomusic ’s Rhea EP, bridges the organic and the celestial.

Following their standout contribution to the Ensemble II compilation, this two-track release resonates with the cycles of nature and the vastness of the cosmos.

The artwork, when seen from afar, resembles delicate feathers — a nod to the light, ethereal quality of the title track, Rhea. Upon closer look, it reveals intricate snowflake patterns, perfectly capturing the EP’s blend of warmth from Rhea and cosmic chill from Tife.

The track ''Rhea'' shines like light reflected on frosted surfaces, carrying a gentle yet expansive energy. It’s a piece that feels airy and reflective, while the cooler tones of ''Tife'' evoke the crisp night beauty of winter, laced with cosmic elements.

Barbero and Kimao’s ability to weave such contrasting yet harmonious textures creates an experience that feels both grounded and otherworldly with its intricate details and soundscapes showing in that EP.
