Through a personal storytelling, the song delves into themes of trauma and resilience, yet it also speaks of hope. In a lot of ways, the song is about depression.
 
At its core, Promise of the Light is about finding light in the darkest moments.

In Your City talks about feeling alienated and isolated and burnt out in the ways of a city. Written in Bombay about Bombay - the song talks about feeling alone even in the crowd. Incorporating influences from artists such as Procupine Tree and Radiohead, this single is a beautiful eclectic alt-rock track with resonant vocal performance.
