'From the Street to the World' is a new series of podcasts from the DPS fine art programme at CSM. This first ever podcast, recorded in December 2017, explores the challenges of making the transition out of art school. We discuss recognising opportunities, negotation, & handling rejection. now rises like the talon of a dead bird
clawing open the sky

it creeks so wildly
with every billow of icy lungs
that i am screaming
to keep her
moving

made by many hands
her gentleness, security -
this ship, 
an emblem of her ark,

the grave sea
so deep and tumultuous;
blood emblem

leviathan womb
im subsumed
this swelling temple, were i the relic?

i must repair this fraying archive,
