Dave Roberts is a drummer and ambient artist residing in Charleston, WV. Along with drumming for local, regional and national musicians along with occasional tech jobs, he co-produces an ambient series titled, "Chuck Biel's Ambient Artists and Musicians Showcase". He also runs an associated Facebook forum called CBAMMS (Charleston Ambient Music and Musicians). The ambient showcase takes place at the West Virginia State University Economic Development Center and is partnered with the creaTOrs Program.

David utilizes piano and synthesizers, percussion, stringed instruments, and guest instrumentalists for his compositions. Guests will be noted in song credits. His ambient music is influenced by artists such as David Helpling, Jon Jenkins, Max Carbacho, Steve Roach, Patrick O'Hearn, Erik Wollo, Thom Brennan, Vidna Obmana (Dirk Serries), Jeff Pearce, Byron Metcalf, Amir Baghiri, Michael Stearns, Jon Serrie, Ian Boddy, Robert Rich, Brian Eno, Jeffrey Koepper, Loren Nerell, Brian Parnham, Justin Vanderburg, Chad Kettering, Alio Die, Vir Unis and on and on. Most importantly, life and its experiences directly impact his ambient sound paintings.
