This 4 channel tape music composition was made using modulated cassette tape loop samples, live feedback with hand held cassette recorders and blank tape loops, voice, and recordings taken in my dad's machine shed using his farming equipment as percussive instruments.  He was the percussionist, I recorded.  This piece is designed to unfold uniquely for each listener as they choose their proximity to the speakers.  No two listeners will have the same exact experience, not only due to a play with proximity, but also because of the underlying associations each listener might volunteer to their own personal listening tendencies.  Each association comes from a place in memory, from life experience; in this way, the piece exists simultaneously in the present and the past.
