The art pop duo, rubyrough, combines American singer-songwriter Stephanie Forryan’s poetic and intimate style with the electronic artistry of German composer and sound designer Horst Niewierra. Together they create delicate, danceable, audible graffiti. The band’s music stirs images more fitting to an underground art gallery than a museum, their cinematic intensity, a colorful reflection of the modern age. The name, rubyrough, describes the contrasts inherent in their music: feminine and masculine, refined and raw, order and chaos.

I'm a girl-with-guitar from New England, following wherever the music takes me. Right now: I've just finished my first full length solo album! It's called Sweet Insomnia.
