Christmas 2019

Enjoy this special poem companion to Ruddy Man Grooming's limited edition Christmas scent, "Santa's Twerkshop."
’Twas the night after Christmas, and all through the shop, 
Not a person was ready for the beat ‘bout to drop.

A mirror ball hung from the flue in the chimney,
Then the lights went out, POOF!, and everything became shimm’ry.

The bass started thumpin’, the elves in a daze,
As two mammoth fog machines pumped out some haze.

Then a big, booming voice asked, “Are y’all ready for this?”
As Santa leaned in towards his wife for a kiss.

First, the jingle-buckled boot on his foot started tapping,
Then, his beard started bobbing while his fingers were snapping.

From velvet-lined pockets, retrieved lumps of coal.
“Y’all, Santa’s been naughty!” as he reached for a pole.

The cylinder ran from the floor to the ceiling,
And it filled ‘ol Kris Kringle with a jubilant feeling.

He spun ‘round it once, teasing moves yet to come,
And he cried, “Here we go!  Time to make like sugarplums!”

“This shop has been crazy, all this toil and work.”
Then he reached for his toes, and he started to twerk.

He twerked to the left, he twerked to the right,
He twerked with all of of his cookies-and-milk might.

They thought they might faint, Mrs. Claus and the elves,
As they stared, mouths agape, at the man, Peré Noël.

“It’s over for now, the holiday bustle,”
Said their boss as his booty continued to hustle.

“You’ve built all the toys, I’ve been to the towns. Now get up, y’all, let’s party and tear this place down!”

So with one mind, they joined him on the workshop dance floor,
And when he saw they were with him, he twerked all the more.

The grabbed their dance partners, the ladies and gents,
And they got down like they’d never done before or since.

Saint Nick’s home was now glowing with a NEW Northern Light,
“Ho, ho, ho, can you dig it?  Merry Christmas!  Good night!”

We in the Tingle Castle wanted to say a huge "Thank You" to all of our friends, near and far, who have helped make 2019 a banner year for us.  This track doesn't do justice to the outpouring of gratitude we feel.  Merry Christmas!
