Cult ska band The Equators are reformed and ready to hit the road again. 30 Years since the release of Hot! on Stiff Records, we are back together.

For those of you who saw us 30 years ago we look forward to seeing you again and bringing back the memories!

For those who didn't, you can expect a high energy blend of Ska and Reggae with melody and groove.

DJ and co-organizer of Dig Deeper in Brooklyn.  Lover of funk, soul, garage, rockabilly, jamaican, and latin 45s.  Makes chicken stock and pie crust from scratch.

Groove to the snap of a well-tuned snare and a kick drum dead on the heavy funk. Bounce to a bass line dancing low and slow on the outskirts of the beat. Feel that Memphis guitar hitting you hard in your tender spots. Succumb the improvisational fury of a Hammond Organ rescued from the wrath of Hurricane Katrina.  It's instrumental and it's R&B, funk, soul, and surfer.  They will free your mind and soothe your soul.
