DJ Q teams up with Louise Williams again on the third single from his forthcoming debut album for Local Action. 

Already one of the UK’s most respected names, 2013 has seen things get even bigger for Q with co-signs from Skrillex and Prodigy’s Mobb Deep, who personally seeked him out to remix his new single ‘Gangsta Love’. He also features on DJ EZ’s forthcoming FabricLive mix, and will be main support at the Fabric launch party.

Although he’s yet to release his debut album, Q’s been a legend to those in the know for almost a decade: his 2008 single ‘U Wot’ was one of the biggest tracks to ever come out of the UK’s bassline house / Niche explosion, and his BBC Radio 1xtra show was a must-listen for dance music fans worldwide. His last two singles from the album, ‘Trust Again’ and ‘Through the Night’ were supported by DJ EZ, Mosca, Brenmar, Sinden, Huxley and more.

Here at Toolroom Records, we culminate a massive ten week campaign charting a decade’s worth of releases with The Anniversary Remixes of one of our most influential tracks, Dave Spoon’s ‘At Night’.

Dave Spoon scored a massive dance hit with the release of ‘At Night’ in 2006. Featuring on no less than two dozen separate mix albums, the genre-bending ‘At Night’ epitomised the Toolroom sound of the time, merging elements of electro, house and tech to create a club favourite.

Now, in reverence to the part the track has played in Toolroom’s history, ‘At Night’ receives the remix treatment from Shadow Child and T. Williams, Tom Staar and Leonardo Gonnelli.
