Like the album, this song opened every show on the Document tour in 1987. It continued to feature at nearly every show in 1989, usually in one of the encores, though the band chose to open with it at 3 shows in June in London, Dublin and Hamburg.

It was one of the few IRS years songs to survive the setlist cull in 1995 and received 66 plays that year (51% of all shows), and even closed a few shows early on in the tour.

It continued to feature on a semi regular basis on all subsequent tours, featuring 24 times in 1999, 32 times in 2003, 20 times in 2004 and 23 times in 2005. For 2008 however it was only played 4 times, with its final performance coming in Luxembourg.

Fun fact: Michael had some of the lyrics for the song written in 1986 (‘the time has come for me to change / you’re better best to rearrange / I’m talking here to me alone / I listen to the finest worksongs’), and would on occasion use them as an intro for ‘Auctioneer (Another Engine)’. The full song was never played on that tour though.

This performance comes from 5 November 1987 in Chicago, IL. This was a terrific show, which included an inspired cover of Lou Gramm's 'Midnight Blue', which was often performed in 1987.
