Usually I write music using pre-compositional material heavily inspired by some sort of extramusical concept. However, I began composing this piece without any underlying idea, I ended up writing several disparate sections of music. I spent time discerning how they pieced together, but they didn’t seem to fit. In the end, I left them that way. I was reminded of nonsensical dreams from my last fever, they didn’t make sense and didn’t have to. Hence the title, Fever Dream.

After a several year hiatus, Los Mocosos return to the world stage with a new album, All Grown Up - slated for release in late summer of 2020. The first single, “United We Stand,” addresses the blatant authoritarianism plaguing the streets and pushes back against police brutality, immigrant persecution, deportation, racism, and protest turbulence. The video was directed by Happy Sanchez and edited Michael Ndah.
