Our very own Insightful is so diverse with the beats. This dude can literally hit every BPM and energy seamlessly. He sent us this a few weeks ago and we knew this one had to be shared with you. He layered his bass infused beat with Big Sean's vocals from 'Dance (A$$)' and pretty much created a whole new song. This is that festival music. This is one of those tracks that DJs and producers will go out of their way to peak at your screen and want to know what it is. Deliberately pulsing with eerie effects, shrouded in mystery, and leaning towards the syrupy end of the tempo spectrum, this 30-minute mix is bursting with unreleased content. Thriftworks' signature gooped-out hip-hop instrumentals blend flavors of the east with beats of the west, and the sonic backdrop is primed for getting busy on the dance floor and in the bedroom.

Thriftworks is set to embark on Bassnectar's Spring Tour, which hits a number of (relatively) intimate venues on the east coast. These special shows will be taking place in Boston at the House of Blues, The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD, The Tabernacle in Atlanta, as well as dates in North and South Carolina. A number of those stops include multiple night stands, as well, so fans will get to see a broad spectrum of Atlas' music.

On May 30th, Thriftworks hits Infrasound Music Festival, presented by TheUntz.com. The next night, May 31st, he rejoins Bassnectar at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Other notable stops this summer include Electric Forest, Big Dub Candy Mountain, Gratifly, Firefly, and Sonic Bloom.

(Brandon Ruffin), known as Ruff Draft, in the post ambient, tech industrial era of music is an imposing, experimental producer from San Francisco, California. Musical blood ties to artist David Ruffin of the (Temptations) may explain the sometimes soulful play between harmony and discord in the collage like dissonance that is Ruffin’s music.

Ruff Draft, with a firm foundation in Nu-Jazz, Soul, and Hip-Hop, has released several projects which set you onto a Plutonian adventure of melodic chimes and space traffic, Draft bends ambiance music into Jazzy improvisation like sweet and sour, hard candy in tracks that follow lines that resemble hump-back arches.

A strong representative of the Oakland Electronic/Experimental scene, Ruff Draft is a resident musician at  San Francisco's (RESONATE) and Founder of the rising (ROOTNOTE COLLECTIVE)and member of the (ALPHA PUP RECORDS) roster. Ruff Draft shares collective input and his a member of the following collectives (Potholes Music, Modern Filth, 10Thirty Records, and ELLT). Ruff Draft has gained the ears and respect by those who nod there heads to the journey of his space jazz vibes--RuffDraft keeps it no secret that his sound is highly influenced by the instrumental magician of sound Flying Lotus.
