Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Zwischen straff getaktetem Releasetrouble und wild-metaphorischer Wüstenstapferei, schickt sich dieser Montag als allzu angebracht an ein wenig zu verschnaufen (jess). @KeralaDust ist nicht nur gut mit schönen Tönen, eben auch dem guten Ton: Wohl maniert – wie in: gute Manieren – steht die Türe offen zum privaten Wohnzimmerkonzert. Wie die Prinzessin auf dem Sandkorn legen wir uns mal wieder auf den Läufer und lauschen dieser Wüste, der wir eigentlich noch fremd sind.

Michi is one of the founders of Better Call Soul. This vinyltainer started out DJ-ing on digitalsystems but was socialized with vinyl by his dad from early childhood on. Audio dramas such as„Timm Thaler“ or classics on vinyl like „Peter and the Wolf“ were part of his upbringing.His true love in music though is D I S C O, so he began to collect Disco on vinyl some 10 years aeerhe had lee home, far in his 20ies at this fme. As he began looking into the roots of Disco he reallyfound what he had long been looking for: Grooving Soul paired with warm and funky basslines ,some monsters of brass. Stretching from Northern Soul to Modern Soul as well as Nu Soul hehas nested in a genre family that keeps on turning wheels around the world. And when he met hismusical brother in law, Daniel, in Bambergs FREIRAUM both where shocked by the congruency ofboth their vinyl belongings as well as the longing for Soulmusic to be played on todays dancefloors. This companionship keeps on expanding out to genres such as Lafn, 60ies RnB up to Afro-Beats

here's our new baby : "bedtime stories - sounds for a sweaty summer"... the idea behind this mix was to share some of the best tracks we've discovered in the past few months. as you can imagine, we weren't able to limit ourselves to new discoveries and ended up putting some old favorites into the stew.    
summer is always a very special moment for us as our music seems to be the product of warmth and sunshine. for those of you fortunate enough to head to the beach, we hope this will provide the perfect soundtrack for your barbecues, volley-ball games and poolside parties. for those of you who won't have the opportunity to take a vacation, let's hope this gives you a little bit of digital sunshine and puts a smile on your faces.

The Italian born, Berlin based Gianfranco Barnaba is the mind behind Ruff Stuff.  He have rocked up on a host on different labels, including !K7, Shall Not Fade, Madhouse Records, Suol, Sloth Boogie and STEP Recordings. 
However, it's the work on his own label, the aptly names Ruff Stuff Music Ltd, for which he’s arguably best renowned.

Grew up during the ‘90’s electronic wave, firstly as clubber and then as DJ and vinyl enthusiast, in the mid-2000s he decided to start produce electronic music. The first steps were moved on the Idm and Ambient territories, driven by his love for ethereal melodies and intricate broken beats.

The shift to House happened after re-discovering different classic records hidden in his collection. 
From here the idea to create a music project focused on representing the vibes of the old-school House, Techno and Garage with a propensity to find the newest, freshest sounds. 

Rough samples, hypnotic melodies, groovy beats and vocals are the main ingredients that marks the Ruff Stuff’s sound.
