OxyFlux - A Sunny Day In Hell

The Thatcher effect is about a cognitive dysfunction that affects the perception we have of certain objects, more specifically faces. A little brain game that offers us a reality different from ours. On this occasion, with “Thatcher Effect EP” I wanted to show that not everything we hear is perceived in the same way. There are infinite possibilities, endless ways of understanding music, whatever genre it is. After a very difficult year, away from my true passion, I present this new 4-track EP, which tells a story, a vision of my own reality. I really wanted to go back to the studio, and I hope you find this new musical adventure exciting, created directly from the heart to your senses. We are happy to release our label's anniversary compilation called X. A label showcase and an inside peek at our musical DNA, with art for this occasion by the virtuoso Rosenfeldtown.

When we, Emiel and Daksinamurti decided to start the label we wouldn't have dreamed of how it turned out. Now after almost 12 years of running the label we are still amazed by the amount of creativity this psychedelic scene has to offer. A lot of art and music still inspire us, and we are happy to have contributed to the psychedelic culture with what we do. Our mission statement hasn't changed since the day we started – to release psychedelic music away from stereotypes and stubborn boundaries.

Coming from an instrumental education, Oli & Pat met in 2013 at psychedelic trance events in Basel (Switzerland), and began playing as a DJ duo shortly after.

In the same year, they started to produce music finding their soundscape within the deepest, dynamic psychedelic trance with an eye for quality, sharpness of the modulations and a minimalistic touch.
