Das Gebiet beherbergt einige der größten und wohlbekannten Festivals wie Maschinenfest, Forms Of Hands, Amphi Festival und Blackfield Festival.
Mit über 150 Terminen pro Monat ist diese Gegend wohl auch schwarz-szenig gesehen das größte "Ballungsgebiet" der Welt.
