Espero que tenham passado um excelente Natal a todos os meus seguidores e amigos e que o ano novo nos traga novas promessas, novos destinos, novos encontros e muita música a mistura.

Despeço-me mais uma vez ao ritmo de Floating Layers, como já tem vindo a ser tradição, desta vez com a décima primeira edição.

@keinkontrast is a project of passion out of love for the beat. The focus of his musical compositions is on a deep, hypnotic sound space, surrounded by a fascinating, experimentally created atmosphere that offers space for our mind. Like music and art, the love of nature is a common language that can overcome borders. In music but also in nature there are energies, frequencies, resonances and vibrations. This creates feelings that guide us, and quite individually. It is difficult to understand or put into words. It is a process of the subconscious. Through his mix, he wants to offer the opportunity to immerse yourself in a world in which you briefly lose space and time to be simple and briefly experience the feeling of lightheartedness.

Kurt Baggaley, also known under the alias as Scape One is an electronic music producer based in England. Over the course of his career his music has ranged from driving futuristic electro of his early EPs to more deep and ambient electronica of his Tau Sagittarii releases. His output has gradually become more conceptual with works such as 2012's Natural Phases which focuses on down tempo stripped down low-fi beats with wave-formed harmonics and 2015's Former Self consisting of intricate and a slowly building hypnosis of synth sequences.

O percurso musical de Rui G. denota a sua insaciável curiosidade e dedicação à pesquisa sonora. Movido pelo desejo de explorar novos horizontes da música eletrónica, foi desenvolvendo a sua técnica com habilidade e sensibilidade, desafiando-se constantemente a construir narrativas musicais imersivas, onde cada set é uma jornada cuidadosamente tecida.

O seu fascínio pela eletrónica foi crescendo ao longo dos anos, permitindo um refinamento pessoal que culminou com a sua estréia oficial como DJ, em 2009. Nem dois anos depois, em 2011, aceita o convite para integrar o coletivo Elements, uma plataforma de renome dedicada à música eletrónica, sediada em Coimbra. Esta promotora revelou-se um marco fundamental na sua evolução artística, abrindo portas para atuar em eventos e clubes icónicos da cena eletrónica, tanto em Coimbra como no Porto. Foi ao lado de artistas que admira, como David Rodrigues, Nelson Flip, The Advent, Deepbass, Brando Lupi, Nobody Home, NTOGN, BLNDR, Antigone, Dorian Gray, Freddy K e Henning Baer, que Rui G. consolidou a sua identidade sonora.

Dedicado, curioso e ambicioso, Rui G. compromete-se a ultrapassar barreiras musicais, apurando constantemente a sua técnica, descobrindo e revelando novas nuances das paisagens sonoras que oferece ao público. Os seus sets transcendem géneros e desafiam perceções pré-concebidas, convidando o público a uma autêntica viagem sensorial, sempre surpreendente.

Nos últimos tempos, tem marcado presença em clubes de referência como o Gare (Porto), Stilvoll Club (Neuss, Alemanha) e KABINET MÚZ (Brno, República Checa). Em 2022, atinge um dos pontos altos da sua carreira ao atuar no Boom Festival (The Gardens), o maior festival de música eletrónica em Portugal.

In the beginning was Hedastrike

Eric C started listening electronic music in middle 90s, when he was a regular customer of major national clubs and biggest electronic music events, and shortly decided to jump to other side and take control of decks. During 2001, with a residence in the Skyline Sundays night parties, he began to conquer his space in Coimbra electronic scene. In 2002, Skyline merged into Elements and he became one of the project faces. Despite starting in techno, his career and reputation were built in house music. Never restricted to labels or sub-genres, he rather choose the best of each genre, turning his gigs quite eclectic. For over more than two decades, he played in clubs that take part of the national dance scene history, namely: Pachá, Gare, Indústria, Maré Alta, Sound Planet, Locomia, Paradise Garage... He was also a resident dj at Elements After-Hours, nominated for several national awards by electronic music magazines and sites.
