deep techno tracks

Embryos were created as a creative exercise by 37 producers, using samples provided by Hypnus' mastering engineer Mattias Fridell.

The tracks for the final release were picked by our collective of 260+ producers who voted them to 12 favorites that are now mastered and assembled.

This mix includes all contributions in the production challenge, while the curated 12 are available at Bandcamp.

To start the new year, we invite you to venture with us and operator ØSC into the globular cluster of Omega Centauri! Located almost 16,000 light years away, it is known for its gradually forming, beautiful shape, visible to the naked eye on dark nights. Thousands of differently assembled stars gathered here around a black hole and send their infinite light formations into the depths of space.

ØSC, DJ and producer originally from the evocative land of Sicily, is a creative soul who expresses his passion for music and love for nature through the evocative power of atmospheric techno.
Born and raised in the rich beauty of Sicily, ØSC finds inspiration in the breathtaking landscapes, craggy coasts, majestic mountains and mysterious depths of the Mediterranean Sea. It is precisely from his profound connection with nature that ØSC draws his immense creative power.
Through his music, he wishes to convey a sense of belonging to his homeland and share his passion for nature with the whole world.

His mix created for our series contains only ØSC’s own productions, characterised by a unique blend of heavy basslines, smooth hats and cosmic undertones. Surely the most suitable soundtrack to explore the innnermost reaches of the galaxy!

ÆXXV - Martyn Päsch

To welcome the new year in a proper, yet unusual, hypnotic manner, Archypness enters the universe of “Dynamic Spheres”. An adept you may recognise from our last EP ‘Lunar Bodies To Solar Bodies’, who has proven that he can channel from the stellar outer rim as well as from the depths of our subconscious.

He is a Ukrainian musician, producer, EMAHO! label owner, sound designer, and mentor at the DJ school Fundament, as well as a resident of the "Tundra" parties, who has been living in Warsaw for over 10 years. Archypness' musical style is rooted in Hypnotic Techno, filled with hypnotic rhythms and textures. Constant development in the latest music production techniques has enabled the creation of unique and uncompromising tracks with complex sound design. The artist's signature is manifested in a mystical atmosphere that immerses the listener in an active meditative state.

Archypness provided a mix, which is truely unique in its distinct, yet experimental and surprising character. It relies on tribalistic and breaky rhythms, meditative and stellar atmospheres and a host of psychedelic twists that you won’t see coming. A journey that is not afraid to venture into uncharted psychedelic realms, what makes the listening a wholesome and profoundly mesmerizing experience.

High above the stars, where the wind no longer blows and silence envelops the universe, rises a mountain of angular rock - ancient and lonely in the endless darkness. Its peaks stretch out and touch the light of past suns. It listens to the whispers of distant galaxies and the mesmerising cosmic storms that Re:Axis brings to our ears.

José Diogo Correia aka Re:Axis started his journey in sound at young age, perceiving the vibrations from acoustic and electronic instruments as a tool to create space and travel within. He has released music and toured the world since 2006. It was the year he set the love intentions to share, connect and get inspired through energy and frequencies. All the experience and maturity acquired over the past makes him a unique artist of the dance music scene, whose musical development we have been following for a long time. So we are more than delighted to have the chance to host him and his music on our imprint. 

Re:Axis provides us with a mix that skilfully combines repetitive, hypnotic patterns with mystical and cosmic atmospheres, all underlined with a special psychedelic twist. He stays true to his name and manifests a real sound mantra - a steady movement around a central axis that is constantly changing and yet remains stable. The music becomes a rotation, a trance, a journey that leads both into the inner self and into the boundless outer space.

Solarythm is a versatile producer and DJ from Nantes.
Best known for his live psytrance project, his music has gradually expanded into techno and ambient, creating vibrant and introspective soundscapes.

His productions and DJ sets blend mental, trancy, and ethereal tones, creating expansive sonic journeys that captivate audiences across Europe. His talent has led him to perform at numerous festivals (Modem, Twisted Frequency, Hadra, Fora de Tempo).

O percurso musical de Rui G. denota a sua insaciável curiosidade e dedicação à pesquisa sonora. Movido pelo desejo de explorar novos horizontes da música eletrónica, foi desenvolvendo a sua técnica com habilidade e sensibilidade, desafiando-se constantemente a construir narrativas musicais imersivas, onde cada set é uma jornada cuidadosamente tecida.

O seu fascínio pela eletrónica foi crescendo ao longo dos anos, permitindo um refinamento pessoal que culminou com a sua estréia oficial como DJ, em 2009. Nem dois anos depois, em 2011, aceita o convite para integrar o coletivo Elements, uma plataforma de renome dedicada à música eletrónica, sediada em Coimbra. Esta promotora revelou-se um marco fundamental na sua evolução artística, abrindo portas para atuar em eventos e clubes icónicos da cena eletrónica, tanto em Coimbra como no Porto. Foi ao lado de artistas que admira, como David Rodrigues, Nelson Flip, The Advent, Deepbass, Brando Lupi, Nobody Home, NTOGN, BLNDR, Antigone, Dorian Gray, Freddy K e Henning Baer, que Rui G. consolidou a sua identidade sonora.

Dedicado, curioso e ambicioso, Rui G. compromete-se a ultrapassar barreiras musicais, apurando constantemente a sua técnica, descobrindo e revelando novas nuances das paisagens sonoras que oferece ao público. Os seus sets transcendem géneros e desafiam perceções pré-concebidas, convidando o público a uma autêntica viagem sensorial, sempre surpreendente.

Nos últimos tempos, tem marcado presença em clubes de referência como o Gare (Porto), Stilvoll Club (Neuss, Alemanha) e KABINET MÚZ (Brno, República Checa).
