In the depths of time, the beating of the drum echoes with a primal force, resounding through the ages like a call from beyond. Its origins shrouded in mystery, its purpose unknown, the drum symbolises the primordial power that lies at the heart of our being.
Long before the written word, before the dawn of civilisation itself, the drum was there, its rhythmic pulse marking the passage of time and the ebb and flow of the natural world. Who first gave voice to this ancient sound, and what secrets did it hold? Was it a tool of communication or an instrument of ritual? Did it stir the spirits of the earth or call forth the gods of the sky?
As the ages passed, the drum grew in power and significance, becoming a central feature of cultures and traditions across the globe. Its voice was heard in war, peace, joy, sorrow, celebration, and mourning. From the heart of Africa to the shores of South America, from the steppes of Central Asia to the islands of the Pacific, the drum spoke a language all its own.
And yet, despite its ubiquity, the drum remains an enigma, a symbol of the mysteries of life and the universe. Its sound touches us at a primal level, stirring deep emotions and primal urges. It can transport us beyond the limits of the everyday world into a realm of pure spirit and transcendence.
For those who hear its call, the drum is a portal to the deepest mysteries of existence, a key to unlocking the universe's secrets. Its rhythms pulse with the heartbeat of the cosmos, resonating through our souls and lifting us up to the heights of ecstasy and revelation. The primordial drums continue to beat, their message echoing through time and space, inviting us to join in the dance of life.

while its roots touch the very depths of hell, thus personifying the
duality of the existence of everything. So Daru's music harmoniously
reveals its light and dark sides, contains a spectrum from subtle to

As they delved deeper into their journey, they realized that their exploration of the mind was not just about individual growth but also about collective action. They recognized the inequalities and injustices in society and sought to create a positive change. They used the power of music and insights of philosophy to become agents of change, organizing events that brought people together and transcended political and social divides. They fought for a more just and equitable world, building a community of passionate individuals who shared their vision for a better future. Through their journey into the unknown, they became philosophers and activists, breaking free from the constraints of the status quo and creating a better world for all.

O seu fascínio pela eletrónica foi crescendo ao longo dos anos, permitindo um refinamento pessoal que culminou com a sua estréia oficial como DJ, em 2009. Nem dois anos depois, em 2011, aceita o convite para integrar o coletivo Elements, uma plataforma de renome dedicada à música eletrónica, sediada em Coimbra. Esta promotora revelou-se um marco fundamental na sua evolução artística, abrindo portas para atuar em eventos e clubes icónicos da cena eletrónica, tanto em Coimbra como no Porto. Foi ao lado de artistas que admira, como David Rodrigues, Nelson Flip, The Advent, Deepbass, Brando Lupi, Nobody Home, NTOGN, BLNDR, Antigone, Dorian Gray, Freddy K e Henning Baer, que Rui G. consolidou a sua identidade sonora.

Dedicado, curioso e ambicioso, Rui G. compromete-se a ultrapassar barreiras musicais, apurando constantemente a sua técnica, descobrindo e revelando novas nuances das paisagens sonoras que oferece ao público.
