Chris Lake and Aluna answer our prayers, releasing their white-hot new single 'More Baby'! After dropping the VIP Mix at his Coachella set with FISHER back in April of this year, and sending the crowd into a frenzy, fans and DJs alike have been eagerly awaiting the follow-up to Aluna and Chris' previous collaboration 'Beggin'.

Starting with a strong kick paired with delicate percussive hits, 'More Baby' satisfyingly builds anticipation. Alternatively, the VIP Mix starts off with a bit more drama, pulling us in with its bright and alluring synths. Aluna's sultry voice quickly takes the spotlight, highlighted by the bubbling bassline and quick synth rips that eventually peak in between. With a prolific amount of experience under his belt, Chris Lake has become a master of elevating the sounds of whomever he collaborates with while seamlessly infusing his personal production style.

PREMIERE: Chris Lake, Aluna - More Baby (Extended Mix) [Black Book Astralwerks]

It's tough creating that high energy in a record using only a few elements, yet Des & Del have nailed it with Next Question.
 
Fresh on the scene, these two best friends from Miami are stamping their mark on the house space with grooves so chunky they barely fit through your ear canals. Next Question is a perfect example of the 'less is more' approach, a raw track driven by a percussive sub bassline and punctuated with a lead stab that throws back to the days of the TB303. Pepper in some airy vocal snips and you've got yourself a dance floor belter.

Keep an eye on these two, we think they'll be pulling some big moves over the next few years.

Buzzin', fuzzin' and muzzin' while dancing around with your cousin. This one is an absolute 'bombinating vacuum'. Wtf does that mean? Well, it's 19th century Latin for BUZZIN! It’s true, look it up.

We did ask Lowdown to change the name of the track, but he said it wouldn't hit the same. Maybe he's right...

So, this track has been an absolute staple in our sets lately. Housey, ravey and just enough LFO on a sawtooth to create a whirlwind of dance floor energy. The thing we love about this track is that it covers so much ground without feeling disjointed. He really nailed this.

Plug this one straight in and give it some space, cause it’s a heater!
