V tokratni oddaji gostimo argentinskega producenta, ki deluje pod imenom Hoosick.

Glasbenik iz Mendoze – mesta na vzhodni strani Andov, drugače znanega predvsem po izvozu kvalitetnega olivnega olja in vina – se je v spletne arhive prvič zapisal maja 2021, z dvojnim singlom, naslovljenim Boring techno, ki ga je objavil na bandcamp profilu takrat ustanovljenega istoimenskega kolektiva. V omenjeni prvi in tudi sledečih izdajah kolektiva Boring techno Hoosick v družbi tovarišev v svežem stilu moderne elektronske produkcije prevetruje ustaljeni zvok zgodnjega britanskega in nizozemskega hardcore in techno podtalja, pomešanega z vplivi elektra, ghetto techa in phonk trapa. Skratka, v namernem prostislovju z imenom kolektiva avtor v svojih delih zajema izključno nasprotje generičnim in dolgočasnim tehno produkcijam.

Zanimiv, svež eksotični output Argentinca, prepleten z bolj domačimi zahodnimi odvodi, je bil kmalu opažen in v preteklem letu smo lahko njegove izdelke zapazili tudi na kompilacijah britanskega Dred Collective, argentinske založbe Visceral in pred kratkim tudi na kompilaciji hrvaškega kolektiva in založbe Low Income $quad.
