“Me costó meterme en el mood ya que llevaba mucho tiempo sin pinchar pero después de unos intentos entré en calor y no encontraba el momento de parar. Al final fueron tres horas. Pensé en hacer un edit y cortar por algún lado pero ya que lo tenía grabado, por qué cortarlo. Os lo comparto tal y como quedó”.  El estilo, el de siempre de Refracted: techno como idea y conducto más que como sonido fácilmente etiquetable. Música de baile en la que los ritmos en capas actúan casi a nivel subepidérmico, neuronal donde los paisajes sonoros en movimiento y evolución adquieren una fisicidad táctil.

@Nymed is a DJ and producer based in the Parisian queer scene. Growing up in Dunkirk, Northern France, he fell in love with the world of electronic music. He began his own party series, "Conceptual Violence," in bunkers on the Dunkirk coast after becoming acquainted with the Belgian and Dutch club realms. What began as a rave evolved into a podcast showcasing techno artists from all over the world. He relocated to Paris a few years ago and began producing and launching his new concept, the Toyz parties, which promote queer artists on the European scene. On the production front, he will release his first EP with E-Missions Recordings in NYC, featuring mixes with False Witness and Oliver Deutschmann.

Katie Rex has made a name foraying fine-tuned taste-making and honing in on multimedia artistry to create a multifaceted curatorial career. With roots beginning in the Philadelphia rave and basement scenes, her passion for the underground has crossed genre boundaries and culminated into an in-depth knowledge of music and cultural trends. Rex’s DJ sets fuse ceiling busting rave anthems into techno, with groove and edge. She's shared the bill with top artists across genres, staying true to her passion for progressive sounds. In the fine art sphere, she’s done activations with David LaChapelle, Tom of Finland, Elizaveta Porodina, Kia Labeija, For Freedoms, Ethan James Green, and more. She holds club residencies in New York City at Basement with BOUND and Le Bain for Midnite Request Line.

Rex’s infamous event series turned multifaceted lifestyle platform, BOUND, has received international acclaim with features from VOGUE, The New York Times, Vice, Resident Advisor, and many more. Beginning with the celebration of sex work and a need for safer spaces highlighting hedonistic enjoyment, BOUND has reached an audience that transcends any one location. They host events in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Austin, DC, San Francisco, Philadelphia, & Detroit. Beyond the party, BOUND functions as a radio show on The Lot Radio, produces the Fetishwear Catalog (forthcoming Fall 2024), and has released tracks from Dax J, Kontravoid, Terence Fixmer, Jasmine Infiniti, Silent Servant, Bored Lord, Kilbourne, and more.
