Duets for Mosesa 8 and software

I’ve long been captivated by the sounds produced by the Mosesa, an instrument devised and crafted by https://soundcloud.com/wilhelm-matthies, and played by him to varied and always intriguing effect. 

I asked Wilhelm if he would send me some samples of the instrument that I could work with, samples that embodied the range of sonorities and percussive qualities that I had heard in his various works. Generously, he sent me three very different tracks. These are the basis of the tracks in this playlist.

The intention was always to retain as much of the timbre and voice of the mosesa as possible while exploring those qualities in interesting and varied ways using a limited range of free and cheap software, often as incorrectly as possible.  :)

This is the fifth duet.

Rumblin Cynth Rampo is based on the South Glamorgan coast she describes herself as cacophonist. Working in the genres of ambient, industrial ambient and noise she explores the worlds of science, space, heavy industry and the deep dark places of earth (or any things that she fancies).

Her tracks are created using modular and hardware synths, soft synths, diy electronic noise boxes, bread-boarded temporary sound generators and effect as well as field recordings. 

Inspiration comes from the natural world, science and space.  Influences include Bach, Beethoven, Mahler, Pierre Schaeffer, Daphne Orme, Delia Derbyshire, Louis and Bebe Barron, Can, Cluster, Tangerine Dream, Hawkwind, Throbbing Gristle, to name but a few.
