Here's a track edited from our fourth Lockdown '21 collaboration series, recorded live at home 28/01/21.

Most of the sounds here are highly modified field recordings of things like a washing machine, old piano strings and other things that go bump and clang! 

It starts quite dark and moody, before Gillie brings in a brighter dreamy sound half way through and things become quite serene... for a bit ;-)

A DAUNTING THING is a track from the cassette and digital release A RATIONAL WORLD (Numina Tapes, 2022).

A RATIONAL WORLD weaves field recordings, improvised music and climate activist statements into a fierce, joyful and poetic call to arms in times of ecological collapse. The music was created during the making of the experimental short film ANSAGE ENDE (vimeo.com/314525630) and was recorded inside an old barn on the farm of Gjalt Tjeerdsma in Beetsterzwaag, Friesland (NL). Both the film and this release dwell on the question how to live and fight in an ever more rapidly warming world.

This release features exclusive art work by artist Che Go Eun. The Limited Edition Cassette has its own exclusive design by the artist and was riso printed at Afreux (afreux.be).

Rumblin Cynth Rampo is based on the South Glamorgan coast she describes herself as cacophonist. Working in the genres of ambient, industrial ambient and noise she explores the worlds of science, space, heavy industry and the deep dark places of earth (or any things that she fancies).

Her tracks are created using modular and hardware synths, soft synths, diy electronic noise boxes, bread-boarded temporary sound generators and effect as well as field recordings. 

Inspiration comes from the natural world, science and space.  Influences include Bach, Beethoven, Mahler, Pierre Schaeffer, Daphne Orme, Delia Derbyshire, Louis and Bebe Barron, Can, Cluster, Tangerine Dream, Hawkwind, Throbbing Gristle, to name but a few.
