In special and general relativity, a light cone is the path that a flash of light, emanating from a single event (localized to a single point in space and a single moment in time) and traveling in all directions, would take through spacetime. Looking at the ground for real, we found that it was covered with tiny cracks. These cracks are so small, but even them are enough for subtle attention. 

Seeing through them, having an endlessly persistent intention to explore them to the very bottom, we transform into pure energy of contemplation. We flow through these cracks like water. 

Our soul is filtered layer by layer. Habits, preferences, attachments - are absorbed into withered grains of sand, greedy for moisture. All that remains is the intention to find out.

This track comes from the opening 10 minutes of our first 2021 Lockdown Collaboration improvisation, recorded on the 2nd January. Unusually for us, it features Si's guitar playing, albeit heavily treated, looped and triggered by Gillie! 

It also features some wonderful soundscapes kindly provided by  @anmoku and some ethereal vocals from our dear friend and previous collaborator, Heidi Hart.

Void Threshold

Rumblin Cynth Rampo is based on the South Glamorgan coast she describes herself as cacophonist. Working in the genres of ambient, industrial ambient and noise she explores the worlds of science, space, heavy industry and the deep dark places of earth (or any things that she fancies).

Her tracks are created using modular and hardware synths, soft synths, diy electronic noise boxes, bread-boarded temporary sound generators and effect as well as field recordings. 

Inspiration comes from the natural world, science and space.  Influences include Bach, Beethoven, Mahler, Pierre Schaeffer, Daphne Orme, Delia Derbyshire, Louis and Bebe Barron, Can, Cluster, Tangerine Dream, Hawkwind, Throbbing Gristle, to name but a few.
