Rumblin Cynth Rampo is based on the South Glamorgan coast she describes herself as cacophonist. Working in the genres of ambient, industrial ambient and noise she explores the worlds of science, space, heavy industry and the deep dark places of earth (or any things that she fancies).

Her tracks are created using modular and hardware synths, soft synths, diy electronic noise boxes, bread-boarded temporary sound generators and effect as well as field recordings. 

Inspiration comes from the natural world, science and space.  Influences include Bach, Beethoven, Mahler, Pierre Schaeffer, Daphne Orme, Delia Derbyshire, Louis and Bebe Barron, Can, Cluster, Tangerine Dream, Hawkwind, Throbbing Gristle, to name but a few.

Rust Cutler has no money, so he only experiments with low-cost synthesizers and no Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). He'd rather have hardware that makes interesting sounds than a decent computer. Rust Cutler strongly believes limitations spark creativity and enjoys creating a melody where perhaps none should exist.  All tracks are single musician, single take recordings with no editing and no processing except onboard effects. Everything you hear is how it sounded at the moment it occurred.  Rust Cutler hopes you enjoy these experiments.
