"Vindheks" is Danish for "tumbleweed" and to me it's a metaphor for the emotional turmoil I was going through back in 2018 and which I, to this day, still struggle with.
Even though I'm in a much better place today, the lurking danger of going back into a high state of stress will always be there. It's something I know a lot of people are struggling with so let's not make it into a taboo please.

In January 2022 Apple Music added “Vindheks” to its "New Music Daily" playlist throughout the Nordic countries and Spotify added it to their "Ambiente", "Música para Pintar" & "Cinematica" playlists worldwide.

Mine dronninger marks the final chapter of Fuimadane. This fourth and last album follows the trilogy Mine høvdinge and brings together 44 acoustic tracks — songs born before Fuimadane, drawn from my earliest music projects. Rooted in guitar and violin, the album carries both joy and sorrow, light and shadow. It is a farewell, but also a tribute — dedicated to the queens of my life: my mother, my paternal grandmother, and my maternal grandmother. Thank you for listening.

The second of two tracks that was written in Costa Rica. Huitaca is the goddess of arts, dance and music, sexual liberation, witchcraft and the moon. She was turned into an owl for rebelling against another god. 

This tune is about the wild spirit and the ancient jungle.
