Heavily influenced by the deeper sounds of the underground bass music scene, DADs’ production thrives on manipulated and saturated emotive synths, grooving percussion, and robotic vocal chops to capture a poignant sound. Worth mentioning that they have already supported the likes of Overmono, Ben UFO, Jane Fitz, Objekt, Giant Swan, Batu and Kessler.

This is a re-recorded set from the Fuchs2 (Prague) Season Opening on 7 September 2024. I had the honour of playing the opening set on the Bike Jesus "Bass Freaks" stage, marking my first performance as a resident of the club. I had a lot of fun. Since the original mix was not recorded live, I decided to reconstruct it while it was still fresh in my mind.

Hailing from Tbilisi, Georgia, Misha Ghvinepadze — better known as Mocongo (@mocongo) — has been a driving force in the electronic music scene since 2008. Some events unfold so naturally that they feel as if they were painted by life itself. That’s exactly what happened a month ago at PUREBASSLINE event in Granada, where we first met DJ Pepo (@pepodnb). His closing set on the garden stage was an absolute highlight of the night — powerful, flawlessly structured, and performed with precision. Afterward, Pepo revealed that this was his first-ever (!) breakbeat set — and it left an unforgettable impression!

A well-known name in the Spanish Drum & Bass scene, Pepo (@pepodnb) has been shaping his sound since moving to London in 2017. While fully immersed in his main style, his passion for broken beats led him to explore breakbeat, drawing inspiration from legends like Koma & Bones, Backdraft, and Future Funk Squad. Over time, he has developed a distinctive sound that continues to captivate breaks enthusiasts across Andalusia and beyond.

Третій епізод Feature Breaks Show — про глибоке занурення у темну матерію сучасного breaks з елементами electro. Добірка зосереджена на важкому звучанні і демонструє широкий спектр стилістичних відтінків: від темних, гіпнотичних ритмів до енергійних та ламаних структур.

У цьому випуску представлені треки від визнаних імен жанру, зокрема Will Saul та Hybrid з Британії, чий внесок у розвиток breaks-напряму ще з початку 2000-х важко переоцінити.
