Evolve is an exciting new project, musically & conceptually, from John B. A consistent series of new releases, reliably out every month, a new musical direction, the rebranding of the John B Podcast to ‘Evolve Radio’, and a futuristic touring concept & a compilation mix series to come. 

Moving away from the traditional cycle of artist albums - long periods of quiet, then sudden push to promote one album, followed by silence again, this will mean a faster cycle from track completion to release, and steadier stream of adventurous, new music, continuously and regularly released – the vibe, awareness &  promotion will develop organically as the project progresses. 

Fusing the influence of mature, uplifting, progressive electronic music with the power, energy & surgical production values of Neurofunk & big-room Epic Drum & Bass, but still looking back and referencing his roots, John B’s sound is Evolving once more. Think Pryda vs Noisia, Jean Michelle Jarre vs DLR, Vangelis vs Hybris. Huge evolving arpeggios & uplifting yet restrained soundscapes contrasting with the tight drums & unstoppable force of modern electronic Drum & Bass. This is the mission statement.

The first track in this continuing series itself is entitled ‘Evolve’ and features speech & vocals contributed by fans from all over the world. A long, unfolding epic, morphing intro slowly builds into a tight, simple drop cutting straight through to the dancefloor, twists & develops further into a second drop where mangled reece basslines emerge from the depths and take things to the next level. A perfect release to set the bar high & begin an exciting new journey…

When it comes down to a Limewax release darkness is usually all over the place. Without a doubt producer Maxim Anokhin has perfectly mastered that side of art, but it would be quite disrespectful if we didn't pay a closer attention to the true depth of his sound. His brand new four-track EP Lordz is not only a total face smasher, but an organic mixture of detail and aggression.

Shaped around a heavily atmospheric backbone, the EP grabs you by the neck to ensure you're obeying its pulse. You're dragged inside Lordz by the synthetic voices of Born With A Secret then exposed to the bi-polar structure of Zehn, where an ambiance, somehow following what Limewax started in Fuenf, perfectly co-exists with the monstrous rhythm. You are briefly let to breathe in Fermented Life, but that's only until the broken beats and drilling lows of Strong Wheelchair slam you to the ground.

Kelle @tkelle is a multi-genre Electronic Music producer from Budapest, specializing in heavy Breakbeat and Drum & Bass styles.

Fascinated by the diversity and energy of broken rhythms, Kelle, under the strict guidance of Gábor Dienes (aka ‘Beatman’ from the ‘Beatman & Ludmilla’ duo) began developing his own trademark sound. He drew inspiration from a variety of artists released on such labels as AYRA, RUNE, Bombtraxx and Broken Robot Records. An indelible mark on the development of his style was made by the movie soundtrack from ‘The Matrix’, produced by the heavy-hitters like ‘The Prodigy’, ‘Propellerheads’, ‘Lunatic Calm’, ‘Massive Attack’ and ‘Rob Dougan’.

After productive cooperation with ‘Henry D’ of the Bombtraxx label and Adam ‘Retroid’ of Ego Shot and Morphosis Records, whom Kelle is grateful for the support, he joined the team of RUNE Recordings, becoming one of the leading resident artists of the label. Here, Kelle received enormous support from Dima ‘RUNE and Dima ‘Under This’, figuring out his right place within the Electronic Music scene. Inspired by collaborations with artists such as ‘Mechanical Pressure’ and ‘Sergei Orange’, Kelle decided he was well prepared and ready to release his debut album.

On August 1st, 2020, Kelle will unleash his musical passion and energy in the form of ‘Revolution In You LP’. The assortment of twelve tracks represent all of the Kelle's mastery, ranging from nuskool, tearout & progressive breaks to mainstream & neurofunk drum & bass. The release of the album is meant to deliver one important message: Nothing is predetermined — Revolution In You.
