With this first part of Deeply Corrupt, Exalk embarks on a journey through time, taking us back to where it all began for him: the scorching drum & bass dancefloors. The song portrays a brutal, militant EBM battle cry set in a dystopian environment ruled by pressure, violence, and relentless physical force. The voice leads through a world of concrete, steel, aggression, and forward-driving intensity, with each verse escalating the sense of collective resistance. Overall, it depicts a reality where only strength, determination, and unyielding endurance matter.

Last Song of the EP. The lyrics portray an inner return to the self, a gradual rediscovery after a period of distance or disconnection. Imagery of echoes, shadows, and hidden chambers symbolizes introspection and the peeling away of old barriers. The repeated “Homecoming” theme emphasizes transformation, reconnection, and reclaiming inner strength.
