Juno EP Review: With a strong catalogue of both bass and dubstep behind them over the years, we always get excited to see a new outing from the Tik&Borrow boys, a duo that have constantly wowed us with their system-ready creations. Joining forces with Dread Or Dead for this latest drop, we are greeted with an immediate sense of grizzly potency as 'Disintegrate' kicks us off with a subby slap to the face, followed by the glitchy percussive mastery of 'Lord', another whomper, jam-packed with low-thudding energy. Next up, the remix section, as Basura & Persy firstly arrive to give 'Disintegrate' another gnarly spin off, with Imakemusicbtw then sending 'Lord' down a much more stripped back avenue. Very tidy indeed!

Guest mix from Proliroid! 

The September episode of the Vramazuri Show is once again enriched with a guest mix created by Proliroid. He is a dedicated supporter and promoter of the Budapest electronic underground bass music/dubstep culture. His primary activity is not DJing but capturing club nights in abstract photos. You can usually find him not behind the DJ booth but rather in the dark corners of the dance floor with his camera. However, he recently discovered his love for DJing as well. His photos don't capture events in the usual, sterile forms; instead, they become hazy memories that vividly come to life in our minds. Over time, these abstract photos start to represent the real moments more faithfully, leaving emotions untouched, expressed through grotesque silhouettes and blurred colors.

The upcoming mix has undergone similar creative processes, where the abstract perspective manifests in sounds. The mix's musical selection is characterized by duality, reflecting the general mood of September: a longing for warm summer days while the gray, damp autumn approaches. In the next hour, expect mind-bending, intricate beats and future garage tracks reminiscent of Burial, perfectly fitting the autumn weekdays. Don't miss out on the summery four-four basslines that will transport you back to summer, all complemented by damp deep dubstep.

A Vramazuri Show szeptemberi epizódját ismét egy vendégmixszel gazdagítjuk, melyet proliroid készített. Ő a budapesti elektronikus underground basszuszene/dubstep kultúra elkötelezett támogatója és terjesztője. Fő tevékenysége nem a dj-zés, hanem a klubestek absztrakt fotókban való megörökítése. Rendszerint nem a pult mögött, hanem inkább a tánctér sötét zugában kamerájával találkozhatunk vele. Azonban nemrégiben felfedezte a dj-zés iránti szeretetét is. Fotói nem a megszokott, steril formákban örökítik meg az esteket, inkább homályos emlékképekké válnak, amelyek élesen élnek a fejünkben. Az idő múlásával az absztrakt fotók kezdenek hűebbek lenni a valós pillanathoz, és érintetlenül hagyják az érzelmi élményeket, groteszk sziluettekkel és elmosódott színekkel. A következő mix hasonló kreatív folyamatokon ment keresztül, ahol az absztrakt világnézet most hangokban nyilvánul meg. A mix zenei szelekcióját kettősség jellemzi, ami szeptemberben általában az emberek hangulatát is tükrözi: visszavágyunk a meleg nyári napokhoz, miközben a szürke, nyirkos ősz közeledik. Az elkövetkező órában fülrepesztő, összetett ritmusokra és Burialhoz hasonló future garage trackekre számíthattok, amelyek tökéletesen illenek az őszi hétköznapokhoz, de ne hagyjátok ki a nyári négynegyedes basszusokat sem, amik visszarepítenek a nyárba. Mindezt nyirkos deep dubsteppel fűszerezve.
