Over the years, Berlin has been cited as Oliver Koletzki's main point of reference and, more importantly, his endless source of inspiration. His albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 are wholehearted tributes of the German capital, as its importance is continuously hinted and charted. Friedrichshain, one of Berlin's vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Oliver's heart. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Kreuzberg's wall paintings adorn Stil vor Talent's cover sleeves and host their headquarters. There are little to no corners in the city that haven't brought a spark of inspiration into the mix. The Schneeweiss compilation series, now at its 12th installment, is built as a form of tribute to all these particles, tied in together into a series of carefully curated tracks. Each compilation stands at the intersection of the musical and cultural surroundings most prominent of their respective times, acting both as a reminder as well as a timeless sound capsule for the years to come.

The lush 'Reverie' is a gorgeous melodic house track that builds in captivating stages. The smooth groove is overlaid with circling loops of twinkling pads and, eventually, big, broad bass strokes arrive to add weight and deeper emotions. It's the sort of star-gazing tune to trap you in a trance in the middle of the dance floor during the depths of the night.

Both as a standalone tune, and as part of the compilation, this is an essential new offering from the continually excellent Stil Vor Talent label and the hotly tipped Sainte Vie.

A Tribe Called Kotori

Drumcode has become a label synonymous with some of the most-cutting edge and forward-thinking techno over the last 20 years. Their artists include both emerging and established names, and one of those well recognised is Enrico Sangiuliano. Now announcing the very first concept album of his career.

The prolific Italian producer has been catapulted into the limelight after the runaway success of his past releases, and now Biomorph is born. 

A very special concept album designed to take the listener on a journey of evolution. A musical adaptation describing how biological and technological advances over numerous generations of time have all started from the same first step in our own biological journey.

Divided into 4 parts, Organisms opens with atmospheric tones, gradually blending complex textures and timbres to begin the evolutional process. The beginning of this section combines full sounding arrangements before stripping it all back to basics. From here it dissolves into the atmosphere. Organisms then progresses into a break-beat influenced, down tempo track using synths to add complexity to the straight, broken rhythms.

Galactic, futuristic elements are found in both tracks in Cosmic Forces. Upbeat, groovy, electronic synths resonate, before ‘Hidden T’ brings the tension to get things pumped up with stratospheric swirls and twirls to lay down one of the most mind meltingly deep drops.

Metamorphosis is mysterious, its opening beat is a deep and piercing tone that sends the listener into a sensory awareness of their surroundings before breaking into a fully charged, techno track, with Enrico’s trademark sounds and textures.

All evolution has an ending.

Two Probabilities shows the positive, starting out evocative and emotional, with a gentle harmony, gazing towards a ‘New Dawn’. On the other side of the spectrum lies the negative. This is influenced with a rhythm that articulates the beat of death, mathematical, cold and metallic in texture, it shows the unsustainability of its nature, with a hectic, anxious break beat influenced ending.

The digital version also features a bonus track; 'A Further Existence'.

Tomy Wahl is not only a brilliant DJ and producer, he's actually a certified electroacustic composer. It's this very high quality that has made the Argentinian get recognition from prestigious labels such as Deeperfect, Set About, Time Has Changed or Night Light. And it's also the quality that has brought Tomy to Jaw Dropping Records. He debuts with his phenomenal Spacewalk EP that serves the melodic and progressive sound that has been key to our label since the beginning. The title track lives off a synth and bass heavy main part and groovy percussions. Similar to this, the second original Crossline goes a little bit deeper at least soundwise. It's also very strong in the lower frequencies but with a sharper melody and a mind-blowing break that convinced label head Rachel Raw immediately. Tomy is a fantastic producer and it wasn't hard to find likeminded artists to work on his originals. Nicolas Cuer from France took Spacewalk and turned it into a big-room banger. It's his first time on Jaw Dropping Records as well! And then we have Tony Casanova, who released on Jaw Dropping's sister label Jannowitz Records in the past, provided Spacewalk synth line with his housy vibe, a much slower track now that has a very unique ambience. The last remixer on this EP is Le Roi Carmona. He worked on Crossline and put the pumping bassline in the focus. A very spacey tune to close down this amazing Spacewalk EP.

Booka Shade welcome back Moonwalk to deliver their first full EP on the label as the duo reveal their ‘Elessar’ EP to open December.

Milan-based, Neapolitan duo Dario Vizioli and Mauro Morabello, aka Moonwalk, have emerged in recent years as one of Italy’s brightest rising duos within the melodic house and techno scene, with releases to date via the likes of Stil vor Talent, Diynamic, Knee Deep In Sound and Suara gaining the attention of a host of the industry’s leading names, from Solomun to Carl Cox and beyond. Having debuted on Blaufield earlier in the year to remix Arm In Arm’s ‘Hunger For Your Vibe’, most notably featured during ARTBAT’s stand out Cercle performance, here we see the pairing return to Booka Shade’s label to deliver their first full EP on the label entitled ‘Elessar’.

Title production ‘Elessar’ opens the EP in emphatic fashion as the pair weave soaring lead synths amongst suspenseful, energy building breaks and sweeping sonics, whilst ‘Cheos’ welcomes as slightly darker aesthetic as rich melodies meet restrained yet punchy percussion arrangements alongside further towering builds and breaks. Last up, the duo combine with fellow Italian Erly Tepshi to unveil the softer yet bright ‘Ikarus’, guided by resonant leads and Elenora’s infectious vocals throughout.

Originally from Seoul (South Korea), the Lyon-based producer and dj Yunok has now established herself amongst the best.  
In the 90’s, Yunok moves to Lyon in the south of France where she attended and discovered the internationally well-known parties of Elektro System and Les Nuits Sonores. It goes without saying that being a partygoer, Yunok felt quickly in love with the “Lyon by night” atmosphere.  
Her dj skills and her music knowledge allowed Yunok to perform in some of the biggest clubs in France such as ...  Through the years, she has been involved in many projects inviting international artists as well as promoting local talents establishing herself as a sound quality guardian in the city.  
In 2007, Yunok joined the Wallas Syndicate collective, at the same time, she became interested with the Production. After learning the basis, she produced several tracks with M.A.O and one of his Fab-V members under the alias Elektronik Gangsters on various labels such as VL Records, Uxmal Records and Kare Digital. One of the main highlights of her career as producer is Live performance during Les Nuits Sonores in 2009.  
In 2017, Yunok  performed at many events (Nuits Sonores Nuit 2, Apawi Festival, Le Petit Salon, L'Annexe, Evasion Festival, Le Bellona club,L’Antirouille ...) in which she payed alongside Loud, Berg, Protonica, Eitan Reiter, Tristate, Suspect One, Teenage Mutant, Soul Edge, Tilt, Anton'X AND DOUSK.  Mainly influenced by Progressive House and Techno, she described her music as a translation of the universe with deep and melodic sounds. She is now focused on her production work and keep playing in different clubs  In a studio or behind the decks, Yunok strives to make you travel throughout various musical genres.

As a resident DJ at Harry Klein, Munich and numerous appearances in clubs like Watergate, Beliin and festivals like Pleinvress, Amsterdam, Wasserman stayed in people's memories for his energetic sets. '
