When you have been running a label as long as we have, it occasionally happens that you have releases up the pipeline which take ages to be released. The remix EP for Patrick Chardronnet’s 2013 hit "All I Got“ is such a case. Already planned for more than a year ago, it has taken this long to be ready for release. But, as good things sometimes simply need time, we think it was well worth the wait and are now more than happy with the result: Four remixes in total, three for "All I Got“ and one for "Random Beauty“, make the release complete, now.

We kick off with the Audiofy Hook Remix, a characteristic interpretation for the super simpatico and world-traveling DJ-duo and long-time friends of Connaisseur. Super tripping, massively grooving and big in love of details. Thank you boys!

Next up is man of the moment Musumeci. His take on "All I Got“ is a super catchy pearl in his own distinctive arp-driven style with touching and tender melodies. A tune for your heart and soul which we are sure will be a regular in many sets in the next months.
The third and last version of "All I Got“ is by German rising star Schlepp Geist, who just had a strong open air track with "Tura“ on our summer V.A. “BBQ Techno 5”. His interpretation, screaming "RAVE ALERT", will destroy dance foors. Massive alarm sounds and a demanding groove make this tune a peaktime guarantor.

The fourth and last track is a remix for "Random Beauty“, the timeless b-side of the original release, which we consider one of the best tracks Patrick Chardronnet has ever have made. Responsible for the remix here is Anthony Middleton, one half of Audiofy and the amazing US act Dance Spirit, well known for their releases on Audiofy’s sublime Supernature label.Their remix is a pure trip taking you far away. Their sensitive dealing with the parts shows their big respect towards the original work. A special track for a special moment.

Almost a year since the release of his ‘Marisa’ Ep on GREEN, Finnish producer YOTTO makes a return to the label with a brilliant new brace in ’Second Life’ and ‘Chemicals.’

With both tracks featuring in YOTTO’s impressive BBC Essential Mix last weekend, the timing couldn’t be more perfect for us to unleash these intoxicating numbers.

‘Chemicals’ combines skipping hi-hats with a fuzzy hypnotic bass filtering in and out of focus. Accompanied by Yotto’s instantly recognizable big room kick drums and soaring synths.

On the flip, ‘Second Life’ is a progressive, hot-blooded acidic cut that slowly builds into cascades of bass, synth hooks and triplet percussion rhythms, giving the track a euphoric characteristic but not without an immersive emotional depth.

A further release smashes again like a distorted bass drum. The "Perpetual" EP produced by Arpow comes with two originals. Arpow incorporates small textures into each track, which are not always noticeable at first hearing, but give the tracks a high degree of liveliness. Especially in "Perpetual" this vibrancy is clearly evident. The track changes several times over its entire length and becomes deeper and intenser. 

"Neuron Circuit" is the more melodic version of a techno track that always functions at any time. From the beginning it goes strongly forward, drives, ties up and moves the legs. The hi-hats in combination with the very tight bassline as well as the synth elements give the final touch to the track. Dancefloor weapons!

SINNERS welcome back Aalson as he returns to deliver his two-track ‘Stormia’EP.

A rising producer and live act of note, France’s Aalson has been a rising name across his home country in recent years, performing alongside artists such as Extrawelt and Teho as he delivers his blend of rich and melodic textures and sonics. His next production features a brilliant new EP called “Ivory” and enters the Wout Records catalogue as number 81. The title track recalls the beginnings of electronic music with its soft synthesizer sounds and long pads; all in a dark curtain. One thing is certain in uncertain times, there comes a phase of maximizing creative ouputs. The same is true for the next Wout Record release produced by Øntold and Yonder of Tomorrows. The "Apex" EP wave-like merges into two parts. With wide bass synths and an expressive kick "Climax" truly deserves its name. Over seven minutes long-winded pads develop into a beautiful sound meshwork; here and there chiptune sounds and noise effects pop up. Sophisticated and harmonious. Although somewhat darker in character, "In My Time Of Reach" fits into this overall style. Basic elements of the track are various shuffled arpeggios; sometimes with short, crisp attack times of the synth, sometimes with long, expressive soundscapes. The EP is a charismatic monster reflecting finest modern electronic music. Welcome to our label.
