Ever since the release of his masterpiece Winona it’s hard to imagine modern electronic dance music without DJ BORING. A progressive traditionalist DJ BORING finds new ways in old maps. Just like Beautiful Strangers. The lead single to his correspondent debut EP for Running Back illustrates his kaleidoscopic sound aesthetic and refreshing style. Harking back to the aural palette of BORING’s formative years in the early 2000s it manages to bridge infatuation and lovesickness wistfulness and bliss as well sundowns and sunrises dance floors and living rooms – and that is no mean feat.

Stolen Flowers is a fresh new installment that features five artists, each offering a unique take on the House Music scope. The compilation kicks off with an exciting release, showcasing the works of Black Pomade, Blutch, Jamaimoi, Larry Quest, and Sylvio B. With their contemporary vision, these artists cover a soundscape ranging from Classic 90's House, Italo Feel and bleepy Acid to the Deeper end of the spectrum, with clear references to Rave Culture on this Vol. 1.

The five tracks featured in the compilation are both charming and playful, while still being able to create a significant impact on the dance floor. It's the harvest of a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
