Austrian imprint @LuvShackRecords starts a new chapter in 2018 by welcoming Irish House and Techno afficionado and Misfit resident Andrew Johnston AKA @Moodtrax with his own-brand of super warm, brooding sounds to their stable. Featuring 3 originals and a remix by Berliner duo Longhair.

'Running Number' starts as a no-nonsense house track, carried by a beefy unisono bassline and a 16th note heavy drum pattern, yet it trancsends into 80s territory with the help of a deeply emotional chord progression that might just make you forget you're in a club. Longhair dig deep into that chord progression and build a melody and synth-bell infused italo-house track around it that should make this years festival crowd weep and rejoice alike.

Modern House Quintet present their debut album, an LP featuring their vision of what electronic music has to offer. This record sees the duo explore the various sounds and influences that make them what they are.

Presented in two seperate LPs, this first is a vibrant mix of inspirations, ideas and sounds. From deeper soulful music, to more upfront and synthetic and all the way through to pieces that incorporate instruments you might not always hear in this kind of music.

Artist Quote: I tried to deliver my own vision (and tastes) of Electronic music, which is why the album has contrasting tracks and comes in two parts. You will find Techno and House tracks plus a Breakbeat song, alongside jazzy interludes. There is also a 15 minutes track with a blend of guitar, vibraphone and Rhodes sounds.

With the years, Mario has developed his own personal style by getting closer to other genres like Downtempo and Balearic. "Hot Naples" is fresh, cosmic, deep and equally influenced by italo sound and early house.
