[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] proudly presents its 84th release — Electric Head – Twilight Dub EP.

Zagreb. A city where twilight slides down the facades like a thin layer of copper. The air hums with electricity, salt, and the distant ring of rails. In this trembling interval between day and night, the sound of Croatian dub techno artist Electric Head (@bass-electric-head) emerges — as if the evening shadow itself decided to speak through a delay filter and a soft, breathing bass, leaving traces in every drop of reverb.

::: Twilight Dub sounds like the breathing of electricity. Layers of echo overlap like old magnetic tapes left to fade in a field of forgotten frequencies. The bass isn’t a strike — it’s the movement of light along an inner axis.
::: Loop of Thoughts is a spiral where the mind listens to itself, curling into a warm cycle of haze and sonic vapor.
::: Vacation Plan feels like a postcard from a place that doesn’t exist — where the sea’s murmur replaces the bass and the echo imitates the wind’s breath.
::: Summer’s End — a tiny epilogue written in rays that never reached the ground.

And then — the transformations.
::: Sergio Sincopa (@sergiosincopa) adds a gentle acid tint to Twilight Dub — as if warm phosphorus were melting through the lattice of delay. His version breathes light, yet the shadow still lingers within.
::: Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube & @x_fr), in Shadow Hazy Vision, dives into the depths where sound blurs like glass underwater, becoming a memory of noise itself.
::: Chain Selector (@chainselector) deconstructs Loop of Thoughts into fragments and reassembles it — like a techno engineer reconstructing a dream.
::: Dom Dumoulin (@domdumoulin), with his en Vacances version, turns Vacation Plan into a sea-soaked reverie — steeped in humid wind and salty laziness, like a long morning sleep by the water.
::: moodeep (@moodeep) closes the journey with inner light — his remix is a morning impulse penetrating layers of delay, leaving behind the feeling of stillness.

Twilight Dub EP is a chronicle of motion — from light to darkness and back again.
Music where each track is a step through the dusk, each reverb — the city’s breath, each loop — a repetition of an eternal dream. There is no ending in this sound — only the recurrence of light. Each composition is a window where eternity flickers while the bass counts time without hands. Here, sound doesn’t merely exist — it remembers how light was born, and how it will return.

3 years have past since the release of the fortunea Cookies Vol. 2 ep. Now, the Viennese label is resurrecting their various artists collection with a third entry.

The A-side begins with a smooth deep house piece by LeSale. Dreamy strings and sparkling pads chime together with a thriving funky bassline. A beautiful opener for estival sunset moments.

Peletronic and Klaus Benedek team up together on A2 with some ‚Analogue Kinda Funk‘. Finished during the lockdown while sending the project back and forth over the web, this track gives you an eerie and compelling feeling of the Zeitgeist we are living in right now. Dark reverberant percs, a crunchy guitar and a stunning drum beat will turn your flat into a club for sure.

The B-side features a new member on the fortunea roster. Dzc. is a young and talented dj and producer and this is her first production that is coming out. It’s called ‚The Truth‘ and is a well made peaktime track and a homage of early to late 90s house, techno and trance music.

Lukas Poellauer finishes this record. But not alone! He brought Schreder with him and together they make a ‚Midnight Ride‘ through a melancholic, acid-fulfilled desert.

PREMIERE : Peletronic & Klaus Benedek - Analogue Kinda Funk

Arp Frique is back, delivering four dance floor ready cuts in his signature style. 'Minina Bem Li' is loosely based on Arp Frique’s Cape Verdean connection through Rotterdam and Americo Brito, echoing the spacey 70s sounds of some of his favorite music, this time also with a big role on vocals for Mariseya aka Marissa Nyamekye. Expect dancefloor favorites with a thriving zouk flow and arpeggiated synths.

Label boss Marco unearthed Lyon based, Brazilian born @pedro-b-2 during lockdown. Impressed by the young and talented artist's fresh perspective, he snapped him up for three tracks that bring a new and different kind of energy and elements of breaks, house, afro and baile funk that are all designed to make you dance in different and unexpected ways.

Opener 'Abre Caminhos' has tropical sounding percussion and wild jungle noises, bird calls and crashing hits all making for a steamy and shapeshifting tune unlike any other. 'Racine' then masterfully layers up scuffed and shuffling kicks with off-grid percussive rolls and ethnic vocal chants. It's a tribal tune with a humid vibe and killer old school bassline. 'Sai Sacanagem' closes out with a darker, more textured bassline and electro feel that is finished with paranoid vocals and proto-house grooves.

This is weird and wonderful music that fuses organic and synthetic sounds into brave new forms.

Finally making an appearance on his own label @breathingroomrecords, @igorbmusic is setting the mood for the transition from autumn to winter. The Raindrops EP sees the Canadian artist following up on his debut LP, Stranded Seaside, released earlier this summer on Ibiza’s NuNorthern Soul. Shedding the lower BPMs and sunny air of the album, this time he opts for more dancefloor-friendly compositions with some darker atmospheres cropping up as the release progresses from song 1 to 4, just as the weather does the same outside.

The title track features friend and talented collaborator Ian Usher. Together, he and Igor create a groove-laden piece that ebbs and flows just as an early fall day would transition from sun to rain and back again. From the swelling guitars in the break to the deep bass and the solo at the piece’s climax, Ian’s talents are on full display and merge beautifully with Igor’s production efforts. Second up is Dry Leaves, an upbeat solo composition that blends dusty percussion, Igor’s trademark element, with some arpeggiated synth work and deep, lush pads while falling keys in the latter half mimic leaves descending from their canopies.

Igor and Ian combine for another track on the release. Whirlwinds is an amalgam that brings together influences from all over the musical spectrum, with instruments such as the ney, oud and bongos winding together like the swirling updrafts of a late fall storm. The EP closer, Poseidon’s Calling, is the moodiest of the bunch.
