With releases via KOMPAKT, My Favorite Robot and Helena Hauff’s Return To Disorder, Captain Mustache’s reputation as an artist and a producer of note continues to build. A lover of Detroit techno and Electroclash, his take on electronic music has welcomed a wealth of supporters ranging from Laurent Garnier and Dave Clarke to Jennifer Cardini and Louisahhh. His latest album, ‘Indigo Memories’, showcases this diversity in full, presenting a powerful and emotive trip through techno, electro and beyond to deliver an in-depth representation of his wide-reaching sound palette, set for release on John Digweed’s iconic Bedrock imprint.
“After years of work, I’m super happy to release a complete album on Bedrock. It’s the highest level of recognition for a techno producer, and I’m thankful to John Digweed for that. I’m glad and proud to present these ten special songs, which combine my influences between Detroit techno and electro music. Many were produced during the pandemic when I was feeling melancholic, thinking of the neon lights of the party and the colors of the night. Each track sounds like a tribute to nightlife and a love statement to dance music, with a romantic dimension and a call to dance. I’m honored to have worked on ‘Catch Me’ with Davina of the legendary ‘Don’t You Want It’
produced by Mad Mike, one of my all-time favourite songs. I also wanted to close the album with ‘Mentally Naked’ featuring Chicks on Speed, which was played by Andrew Weatherall during his last radio show, just before the beginning of party black-out. Now I’m pleased that these ‘Indigo Memories’ come with the return of the light.” - Captain Mustache.
Opening via a medley of brooding synths, vibrant leads and warping basslines across ‘Bleu Azur’, ‘title cut ‘Indigo Memories’ and ‘Paola’, the Frenchman quickly establishes his ability to fuse dark and light, playful and serious. Escalating leads throughout ‘Bleu Ciel’ add a sense of panic and unrest, while ‘Catch Me’ showcases a zipping electro production armed with tough metallic drums, softened by Davina’s captivating vocals. ‘Andromeda’ and ‘Ultra Neon’ shift towards resonant, melodic journeys, whilst the sleek ‘Midnight Man’ offers up visions of late-night drives through neon-lit landscapes. ‘Shapes & Oddity’ then interjects and interrupts the calm with a tough, dark trip, before closing via the unwinding, hypnotic wormhole of indie leaning closer ‘Mentally Naked’, featuring Chicks On Speed.

After a one year hiatus, Internasjonal restart with one half of the formerly well known milanese pair "Boogie Drama" and it ́s very own Lele Sacchi. Deejaying since 1995 Sacchi has been one of Milan ́s musical icons, at least for electronic, and presents himself in his signature style. 
High on the heels of the success with "Rebirth" ́s smash Lele Sacchi Vs Blonde Redhead "You're Only", "Kosmiquest" is dark and cryptic, with a mean but very neat and elegant bassline plus an unmatched groove and feel for the floor, this time well balanced with a tad into psycheledic string heaven, which combined with electronic effects is his ultimate "kosmische" quest. The whole thing is backed by an airy and superbright no less danceable version by "Lauer" and a fantastic relaxed italo take on Kraut which can propably be non done much better than by Prins Thomas here walking on that "lunga strada" ! As the decade has rolled to a close, the ways in which fans discover music is more fractured and algorithmic than ever. Bringing Igor Bezuglov onboard in early 2016, together they helped Bolting Bits reach a more universal audience by transitioning their writing to the English language. Alongside a small team of rotating contributors, they've worked tirelessly to not only upload music from artists they admire, but also raise the profile of talented newcomers who are eager to share their efforts---many of whom have gone on to release on labels such as Shall Not Fade, Lobster Theremin, Feel My Bicep, and a myriad of high-profile outlets. With over 650 premieres under their belt, as well as over 100 original mixes and over 6 million plays on Soundcloud, Bolting Bits remains a beacon for the outer rims of traditional dance music, covering everything from jazz to acid to broken beat and beyond. They have thrown dozens upon dozens of parties in their local Montreal and have reached audiences across the globe (except Greenland…hurry up Greenland).

Now, Bolting Bits are extremely excited to announce their first official compilation, in partnership with renowned producers and artists who’ve been supporting and supported by the crew since the very beginning. With tracks from the likes of Jad & The, Aleksandir, Homage label owner Ryan Clover, and many others, this compilation stands as a testament to the amazing work and ethos of Bolting Bits.
