To avoid getting caught up in the chaos of the news and the shifting geopolitical landscape, I’ve decided to mix (and press the record button) more often. :-)

So here’s the first result...I named it GeoBass I

A selection of new and old tracks, some classics, and also with a few obscure tunes.
A journey from dubtechno through swinging breakbeats, dark hypnotic pounding techno, and harder acid!

And as expected all with an underground vibe, 140-145 BPM and swinging, rocking and gazing! I used some good old vinyl, Traktor and sometimes an external FX box.

The past 4 years have nothing short of the good, the bad, the ugly, and of course, the beautiful. Philip Kempnich remixes Aaryon and Ran Salman's 'Riptide', fundamentally shifting the patterns of sound consistently to leave you with an ever-pleased, tingly aural sensation. Cid Inc brings us his take on Nick Devon's 'The Poem' featuring Miroir, taking advantage of the earthy bass line through a complimentary arrangement. Oliver Schories faced Soul Button and BLANCAh's 'Rising Silence' turning this track into a twisted fantasy guaranteed to engulf you. MIDAS 104 approaches Animal Picnic's 'Gravity' with a bold confidence evident in the layout of this true anthem of ethereal techno, with a hint of funk! Lastly, but not leastly, Jonas Saalbach remixes Dahu and MPathy's 'Shattered' sticking to the darkness that is, while adding minimalistic elements to make this track simultaneously sink in and pop out in the most unpredictable and astounding ways.

Actually, there is a story behind the selection of this set. When i started my record collection around 1998, i bought my first +200 BPM records from Akira, who was working at a recordshop (mainly selling trance/house/techno), but was selling these rough ep's more or less from under the counter hahaha. So i decided part of this set would a tribute to that period, late 90's fast, industrial and mental hardcore, mainly rare french and UK tunes! These tunes remain a big inspiration for me. Big thanks to the man Akira, for hosting a platform for me to play such a set, arriving full circle after almost 19 years!
And ofcourse playing at such a massive festival as Dominator was fucking awesome, and having so many old and new friends supporting me through the entire set completed the epic experience! 

So thank you all and i hope you enjoy the recording! :D
