Amal is a producer, DJ, and founder of the Hochi Runs label, pushing the sound of underground dance music forward from Washington, DC. As one-third of Black Rave Culture, he blends techno, house, and club music into a sound that’s uniquely his own, earning support from artists like Bicep, Sherelle, Yaeji, and Mall Grab. His production work includes a Pitchfork-acclaimed project with DC rapper Wifigawd, scoring for global brand Asics, and remixes for Ohm Unit and James Bangura. With BBC Radio airplay and recognition on DJ Mag’s Top Albums of 2022, Amal continues to gain momentum globally. A commanding presence behind the decks, he’s performed at Boiler Room, Dweller, Movement, and ADE, with his debut solo album set to drop in 2025.

Detroit native, Rimarkable, is a DJ, vocalist, songwriter, and producer. She has she’s lit up the stage with world stars such as George Clinton, Madonna, and Erykah Badu, as well as legendary DJ colleagues Louie Vega, Honey Dijon, Todd Edwards, Francois K, Pete Tong, and Roger Sanchez. Rimarkable is known for her unwavering knowledge of where electronic music comes from and where it is going. 

Alongside her multi-hyphenate musicianship, Rimarkable is also an Adjunct Professor at NYU-Tisch in the Clive Davis Institute where she teaches the younger minds about ’The Alchemy Of DJing’. Quite literally a party starter, she’s produced several successful, long-running events in New York, Detroit, and the Bay Area over the past 20+ years. In early 2021, Rimarkable signed with UK house music institution Defected, including the Defected Music publishing arm, and stepped up as a presenter for the weekly Defected Radio show. Rimarkable currently spends her time between Detroit and NYC.
