An experiment in composing using (sort of) the twelve tone technique of Schoenberg. If you like that sort of music or Noise music, its worth a listen. Otherwise the dissonance may be too much. I do recommend using head phones and trying to relax to it. It does actually suck you in and the moments of tenuous harmony are rewarding.

A few years ago, I acquired an answering machine tape belonging to an elderly man: Ed, and his adult, developmentally disabled daughter Mimi. Their malfunctioning answering machine recorded pieces of their phone calls. Side A captured their daily lives. Side B seems to record Ed's death.

It is a 16 minute answering machine tape. I removed periods of silence, noise, feedback, and a few personal details, resulting in a 9 minute extraction. Otherwise the tape is unedited.
