For this first EP release of 2014 on Délicieuse Records, we welcome Madmotormiquel, the Berlin based producer, label-manager of URSL. His magnificent ability to infuse eclectic sounds into his music that has been influenced by his long experience in the Berlin rave culture (Bar 25, Katerholzig, etc)is totally unique.

From the slow after-party vibes of 'Wonder Bitch' to the inner grooves of 'Mountain Top', our friend offers us two big tracks, shaped for the long Berlin parties.

Madmotormiquel teamed up with N.Y.N to deliver us 'My Ambition', an eight minutes gem. Pazul jumped into the boat for this release with a remix that intertwine 4/4 kicks with great percussions and guitar sounds.

My first big record on a well known and influential label. I gave the music to @Josh Wink and it took him one year to release it, which was pretty normal back in the day. 

“Menina Brasileira” came after I watched a wack movie with Penelope Cruz, ate something wrong and had a bad night’s sleep. The next day I went to the studio with the idea to produce a deep house track. Not a cliché deep house track, but to capture a deep house vibe in a non-deep house track. 

Just listen to the vocal on the flip, “Jacuzzi Games,” and you can imagine the scenario.

We are happy to introduce Deeper Meaning's 5th project on the typical for our label 12” vinyl record format. This time it’s a selection of 4 tracks by various artists with whom we had been connected musically for a long time. With some of them we've been releasing music on our digital label Etoka Records ever since 2009. Both sides representing the very best of our label's sound vision. Although the tracks are produced by a number of artists and each one of them is showing his own musical individuality, every composition applies perfectly into one immaculate deep release. When talking about the roots of House music it’s impossible to ignore the importance of US cities like Detroit, New York and Chicago, but these are not the only US cities to have spawned pioneering producers and DJs linked to the genre. Baltimore was the home of the Basement Boys who released a number of seminal records in the early days of House music. Chris Clayton was a valued member of the Basement Boys who since leaving the group has continued to carve out a career under his solo alias of Karizma and KaytroniK. Chris is now best known to many as Karizma, a veteran DJ with 25 years of experience behind the decks and whose technical ability is second to none. Not only as a member of Pete Tong’s hallowed Radio 1 Hall Of Fame, he’s also a popular Boiler Room guest who regularly flies the globe as a headline DJ. Also a producer with a varied sound that reflects his eclectic range of influences, Karizma’s music has appeared on many of the world best labels ranging from Hyperdub to Defected. Karizma’s next release due to hit stores on the 20th of February, is forthcoming on Marcel Vogel’s label Lumberjacks in Hell, and is a split EP with the label boss himself.
