When it comes to inventive percussion, few labels can top Livity Sound, even as the UK outpost headed up by Peverlist has gradually expanded beyond its Bristol home base in recent years. On June 28, French producer Toma Kami will be returning for his second go-round on the label with the 'Negative Extasy' EP. Ahead of the record's arrival, we debuted the speaker-rattling title track on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.

Without question, Bristol outpost Western Lore has become one of the premier outlets for new jungle and drum & bass sounds in recent years, even as the label has continued to push against's the genre's usual boundaries. On July 12, the imprint will release 'We're All Disturbed,' the epic debut album from Manchester duo Response & Pliskin, who've put together a collection of jungle-techno hybrids that often top the 10 minute mark. "Shadowrun" isn't quite that long, but the tracks offers a breakneck journey that we debuted on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.

Response & Pliskin "Shadowrun (feat. Lighta)" [First Floor Premiere]

Slovenian producer @allegedwitches assembled a dark and percussive EP for @dimensions-recordings. Here's "Spirit Caller" from the 2014 RBMA alum -- a moody floorfiller dappled with hand percussion and covered in haunting tones. The EP arrives September 13th. Alleged Witches - Spirit Caller

"Extramarital" is the lead track from @iyer's forthcoming "Third Culture Tamilian" EP. Written in collaboration with 2016 RBMA alum @thesinepainter during his visit to San Francisco, the hyperactive tune samples vocals from a song in a Tamil movie with great meaning to both producers.

It's an RBMA alumni meet-up as @toravinter (class of 2006) gets remixed by @haraldbjork (class of 2013) with tasty results. Prepare for a study in controlled techno chaos -- swinging beats and growling melodies that just avoid going off the rails. The full "Peri-Banu" single will be released by @brorrecords on September 27, 2019.
