Around 2003 Tanshi Hossain and I use to sit with our guitars & jaming on most midnights. During then, we both were living at the same locality of Mehedibag Shaied Mirza Lane. With a musical serendipity we cluelessly jammed night after night to find our own settings of notes. On a sudden time this peaceful Meitational instrumental was discovered. I named it "খোলা জানালা" (Open window).
On my own practice of years & years I always searched the sound that would tell our own stories, a language that would resonate to express our very own estern minds experiance. Dont know how far we are successful. Have a listen to it and see if you feel it the same as we did.
