'Slow Cycles' is the latest album by the New Jersey-based musician, Lofield. Operating across the realms of down-tempo, electronica, and minimalism, the work of Lofield is reductionist and delicate. 'Slow Cycles' presents 15 tracks encompassing abstract beats and grainy textures, warm keys and warped percussion over its near-74 minute runtime. 

For fans of Loscil, Bvdub, and Lone, Lofield's 'Slow Cycles' draws the listener into a trance-like state through clever use of repetition and controlled-randomness.

The sound of Lofield is made manifest through a union of organic soundscapes, controlled randomness, and subtle harmonies interpolating silence and static; emerging one in a field of auditory contemplation.
