Man, it’s been a crazy two months, but here I am today, close to the middle of April 2014 with another mixtape. On some level, I wish I could do these more frequently, but sadly, music has been rather stale for me of late. Not that many exciting new sounds that I cared about enough to write about.

However, that all changed when I got to listen to the new HTRK album.

For one, it’s gloriously minimal, and the simple melancholia awoke something in me. Almost as if, even in the storm of nihilism, someone out there managed to create something that described nothing.

HTRK – Feels Like Love

As everything wraps around you like a blood haze, a red tint of the mirage that lies to your eyes. But your heart knows better and seeks deeper. Down into the trenches of something absolute, something tangible, something that could be found, but all were just electrosynaptic lies of the flawed vessel of human transcendence.

Flagland – Shitsucksrightnow

Then we awaken to something carnal. The primal beast awakes to instinct and indulgence takes over. What have we hear? But the battered body of a cruel life. Scars that bear and the roar of a cornered, wounded animal.

HTRK – Love Is Distraction

And when left to die under storm clouds, a drizzle that pitters but doesn’t patter. We pray for rain, to wash away the pain. Though we are not indulged, carrions look intently, eating only what has passed. But we shall not, we shall live maimed, broken, scarred and butchered. But never to die in the open, but in the warm comfort of death’s bed.

Telefon Tel Aviv – Feel The Fall

Whilst the grip tightens and the body spasms, one last desperate cry to the heavens for salvation as the infinite sky watches over, starring, smiling and crying. Yes I will save you, no you are beyond saving. This be the day we forsake each other, and you are released from the snaking tendrils of life’s trap. Your heart beats faster, for one last celebration, the last breath you’ll take. A breath more glorious than they first one you took.

Never Young – Teenage Dream

So where will you go now? Where will your released soul take you? Will you find rest? Will you find peace? Will you find what it is you think you’ve found? As wave after wave, crashes upon the cliff that holds the castle, keep us in your thoughts and keep us in your prayers. I haven’t found my way, the way towards the light.

Have I made it? Did it work in the end? Counsel me, all who love to give counsel. I will not listen, but I will hear. I need the noise as I need air, but deprive me this, and my soul rises from the depths of the ocean to take me to a place of desert calm. This mix by electronic music artist, writer and designer Petstov from Chile is a collage of classic and mostly unknown ambient tracks from 60's and 70's kraut rock artists, gived to him by his father in the early ages. It features tracks by Klaus Schulze, Edgar Fre, Vika Amundsen, Deuter, Brian Eno, Jean Michelle Jarre and some unreleased tracks under Unknown Artist name, own project. The Mix was made with 1CD Player, 1 Vinylplayer, 1 Notebook and a Synthesizer running simultaneously.

Derlich music production started back in 2006 purely software he experiment with sounds and loops a process that takes some several years, he was not always satisfied with his work because his desire making music that give a certain feeling was not always how he want it.
After long traveling in sound he's getting fascinated in the darkness of music searching for feelings and answers, his passion for art, empty buildings, abandoned places gives him the inspiration to his music today.
It describes a minimalistic techno sound with a certain deepness and experimental touches, music that get you in a feeling of darkness and hypnotic are his basic elements, also his interests in abstract noise grows. 
After a lot of work his first release came out in 2011, he had a great opportunity to express himself on Singularity Records.
In his music sets he make a combination of Live and Dj'ing a transition of sound and feeling that brings the listener to a new level.

After coming back from Hamburg to his home city Turin, Edoardo Zerbinati totally reorganized his life, together with setting up a new studio in the town.

Back in that cloudy, rainy, romantic place where he was initiated to the Techno music culture, he saw the release of his debut album on Silent Season and, after that, the label has been selected as “label of the month” by Resident Advisor.

Some months later, the canadian label also put out an Edanticonf’s EP with a remix by the mysterious Sweden producer Abdulla Rashim. This collaboration on a limited vinyl was charted in the Top Techno Chart by some of the most important vinyl shops through the world.

All the textures in this set are written and produced by Edoardo Zerbinati with using mainly analog equipment (additional production by Iori and Decoside, remixed by Edanticonf). A lot of pieces of music are unreleased or played in a live version and due to this reason it’s not possible to attach a complete track list. The man and the perception of the infinite are the main themes of his compositions; Techno music lends itself to this goal with the integration of sounds inspired by natural landscapes.

Mace. [ Eclipsemusic / Further Records ] Italy

Mace. (Enrico Cesaro), is a young producer from Padua. His first attempt at music studies is with classic piano, after that he starts to produce experimental electronic music trying to portray his own irrational reality. The project Mace. begins as a 'stream of ideas and miscellaneous subjects' that need to be shared with whom listens to it, feeling the urge to build a sort of 'substratum' (environment, state of mind, political and social ideas), a live ground where to grow 'auditory ideas'. Generally speaking there's a dark mood to the music: the tracks seem to be improvisation of soundtracks and representations of obscure environments. Music samples and 360° audio effects, no rules: Mace. sabotages loops (voices, guitars, noises) and distorts them in order to get the maximum level of saturation in the sounds.
In 2013 his first physical releases will be out: an old school record tape for Further rec. (Seattle, US) and an album for Eclipsemusic (Turin, IT). In the meantime some other projects are coming soon.
