Hello! If you're here it's because you like the blues. Since when I was a young kid in the small town I lived I wanted to make some music. So once in my childhood I saw a blues show and I decided I would be making Blues songs for the rest of my life. I rember, my parents said I'd never get money from blues and that I was crazy..............well, today they still tell me the same story but I am still confident I can get money from Blues and make a living and buy some candy to my kids. If you live in Dublin may we meet each other someday, but for sure you won't know who I am as there are many pizza deliverers out there :-)

THE MAGIC POWER sono un duo formato da MICHELE RIGHINI (piano elettrico, voce, composizione e arrangiamenti) e NICO PELLEGRINI (percussioni e arrangiamenti).
Il loro primo album, FUORI DAL TEMPO,  è uscito a settembre 2022, ottenendo diverse ottime recensioni.

“The Brand New Dawn” è un progetto musicale le cui tematiche fanno da telaio ad un concetto onirico legato alla favola.
Ogni testo parla di argomenti diversi, ma comunque facenti parte di un quadro di situazioni comuni, con cui la maggior parte degli esseri umani prima o poi si scontra nella vita, fisicamente o mentalmente. Si parla di inganni, amori surreali, amori falliti, economia, sogni spezzati, insensata onnipotenza e di un albero genealogico confusionario.
Gli argomenti dei testi sono “tutto ciò che sta nel mezzo” fra questioni problematiche e possibili scenari risolutori, considerando diversi punti di vista.
“Tutto ciò che sta nel mezzo” rappresenta i “lupi” della vita che, ogni bambino, dovrà affrontare per poter arrivare alla simbolica nuova alba, dalla quale poter ripartire. L’unico che può aiutarlo nell’impresa è il suo genitore, impegnato giornalmente a combattere i suoi disagi. Ne ha già combattuti abbastanza e può aiutare il figlio a non rimanere sopraffatto dai suoi ostacoli. Tornando all’inizio, dunque, il lasciapassare per la nuova alba è la favola, cui il genitore fa ricorso per far addormentare serenamente il figlio e per riuscire esso stesso a garantirsi un riposo sufficiente per affrontare tutti quei “lupi” che fronteggerà il giorno seguente.
Per finire, quindi, i temi interni al disco sono orientati ad una visione negativa, ma il contesto in cui vivono lancia messaggi di miglioramento in prospettiva futura. Il progetto, tecnicamente, è stato concepito in sala prove in un’ atmosfera spontanea, in cui il gruppo ha trovato una dimensione ideale per poter esprimere un pensiero attraverso la musica.
L'album presenta sonorità prettamente rock'n'roll, di ispirazione blues, ma con riferimenti moderni. Questo è il modo in cui la band si esprime: far andare a tempo il “blues” di ciascuno, inteso come espressione delle emozioni.
L’approccio musicale esce dalla concezione di blues classico, aggiungendo una spinta aggressiva, così il suono risulta sporco/rugginoso come fosse una grande macchina che muove un’industria.
