RNB013 is the thirteenth beat in the Rusty Nails Beats series.

This beat is written at 140bpm and, as with other beats, is a series of 8 sets of 16 bars; perfect for spitting over or using as part of a cypher.

The central focus of the beat is based on samples taken from the Metalheadz classic "Up All Night" by John B. Old school DnB heads will no doubt recognise the sounds and, hopefully, this beat does the original justice.

The drum pattern leans on and takes influence from both drill and grime in terms of bpm, snares and hats but, to be honest, it's neither a grime or a drill track in and of itself. The basses used in the track are heavily influenced by neurofunk/skullstep/dark DnB and this edge takes it in a different direction.

If you're looking for something a bit leftfield to spit on, this is the one.

This is my Crossbreed, DnB, Hardcore bootleg remix of "Ultimatum" by Ashen Crown, the Extreme/Death Metal hybrid from Birmingham, UK.

The track is a pacey, unrelenting 190bpm and is all about the heavy guitars, pounding kicks and brutal snares punctuated by the odd guttural scream.

Hopefully the guys in Ashen Crown don't mind me throwing this out there. I'll take it down if they do!!!

Arguably one of the greatest metal acts in the world have been given the Rusty Nails Bootleg treatment with "Aesthetics of Hate" being switched up in to a 220bpm hardcore banger.

Hard kicks, distorted guitars and twisted FX make for a dancefloor smasher and if we ever make it out of lockdown, this track could destroy dancefloors everywhere.

RNB010 is the tenth track in the 'Rusty Nails Beats' series and this one has been inspired by Drill drum patterns and progressions.

It's not a typical Drill track aside from the bpm (140) and the style of the drums but it's been good to mess about with.
